Volunteers
The Parish could not function without the generous help of a large band of volunteers who carry out cleaning, maintenance, gardening, cooking, flower arranging, office and technical assistance, working in the Op Shop, and serving as Liturgical Assistants and readers, and a host of other activities.

In appreciation of the work of our volunteers, a luncheon is held in Kilcoy and a high-tea Woodford at the end of each year.

Art Show
An Art Show is occasionally held in St Matthias, Woodford with inspiring displays by a number of local artists and others from our wider region.

Guilds
Our Guilds meet monthly. Among their special ministries are catering and providing refreshments for funerals and assisting with various events.

Op Shop
The Anglican Op Shop, which is situated behind St. Matthias' Woodford, and run entirely by volunteers, provides low-cost clothing, furniture and household goods, with all profits going to support the work of the parish.
The Op Shop is open on Monday-Friday from 9:00-3:00 and 9:00-12.00 on Saturday.
