Parish Activities

St. Mary's Wine and Cheese Night

Held at the beginning of September, the Wine and Cheese Night is a fabulous occasion of entertainment, sampling wines, food and conviviality.  We showcase our local winemakers who of course contribute to success the Wine and Cheese night. The night is a major fund raiser for the parish.

Woodford Monster May Market

This popular Autumn annual event, held at St. Matthias' Church, Woodford, is another major fund-raiser for the Parish. It features home baking, crafts, a book stall, toys, bric-a-brac, furniture, fruit and vegetables, clothing, etc.  And of course the OP Shop is open.

Cent Auction

St. Mary's Kilcoy hosts an annual Cent Auction as a community event to raise funds for the work of the parish.

'Train Day' Family Outing at Woodford

Kilcoy-Woodford Parish hosted a family fun day at Durundur Historic Railway Station in Woodford. With games, food and unlimited train rides, the event was a resounding success and will probably become an annual event.

Parish Outdoor Service and Picnic

On All Saints' Sunday 2014, the parish held an outdoor Holy Communion service followed by a picnic, under the jacarandas at 'Litschfield', the home of Iris and Trevor Wessling. As the day was also the centenary of the reopening of St. Matthias' Church at its present site in Woodford, the service contained references to the Parish's history, including the table from Kilcoy Station homestead which served as an altar. The table was used for the same purpose by the Butler family before St. Mary's was built in 1898.
